    OUR MISSION


    Youth Apprenticeship Standards Council works with Non-Union and Open Shop Unions and any closed union that provide authorization to work directly with employers.

    Established June 2008, Youth Apprenticeship Standards Council (YASC) is a not-for-profit organization with the mandate to promote skilled trades & safety training and link member employers with potential employees through our resume board. YASC’s goal is to serve as a recruitment and job link organization, connecting employers with well-trained, skilled individuals. YASC will ensure that all individuals meet the required fundamentals skills and safety certifications necessary for member contractors.

    Our mission is to promote skilled trades and bridge the gap for people interested in a trade. YASC represents both employers and job seekers in an effort to bridge the gap to enter a trade, successfully complete an apprenticeship, and allow you to re-enter the workforce.
